Today, This tour starts from Muscat city, the capital of Oman, where your guide will take you from your hotel early to one of the best tours to visit Nizwa.
The first stop in this guided tour will be at Nizwa city, located in Ad Dakhiliyah region, about a 1 hour 30 minutes drive. It is considered the old capital of Oman. The tour will take you to Nizwa Complex, known as Nizwa Souk is among the largest and unique of its kind in Oman; there, the local vendors offer a wide variety of their goods. Visit the Vegetable and fruit market, and pass by fish, meat jewelry, and handicraft shops; here is a great chance during the tour to buy souvenirs.
Friday is a special day at Nizwa, where there is an auction in which locals from nearby villages come in the early morning to offer their goats, cattle, sheep, and donkeys.

Nizwa fort is considered from the ancient forts in Oman inside the Nizwa complex. It offers a Panoramic view of the surrounding villages and mountains.
Then continue our tour to Al Hamra old village built 400 years ago, famous for its traditional abandoned houses.
Just a few km from Al Hamra, we will visit the village of Misfat Al Abreen, which lies near Jebel Shams mountain (Oman grand canyon). Explore the narrow streets and discover the beautiful ancient houses. Al Hamra is famous for its historical Falaj, or irrigation system that supplies water to the surrounding area.
At least we spend one and half hours walking and exploring the village to see the local and traditional life of Omani people.
Afternoon, start the way back to Muscat.
