Drive North East across the coastal road for one hour until we reach the fish market at Quriyat city, then another stop will be at Bimah sinkhole, a spectacular limestone crater with blue-green water.
Enjoy the view of the Omani coast while driving till we reach Sur, famous for its port is considered the most prominent port for trading ships in Oman, as Sur played an essential role in Oman’s maritime past.
Sur now is the capital of the South Al Sharqiyah governorate in Oman; from a long time ago, in the 6th century, it had a historically prominent role as an established commercial centre for a trade route with East Africa.
Now the city is famous for dhows (boats) factories where visitors will have an excellent opportunity to watch the manufacture of dhow boats.
A drive through the beautiful corniche street of Sur till we reach the nearby historical Sur Fort, one of the principal forts and attractions in Sur, built a long time ago; there will be an excellent opportunity to take photos. This spot is considered a paradise for photographers lovers.
On your way back to your hotel in Muscat, there will be another stop at one of the most attractive beaches in Oman, called White beach, near Wadi Ash Shab. It is famous for its sandy beach, where another chance for photos will be available at the beautiful nature area with its incredible turquoise water of the sea.
